So this is an absolutley brilliant idea! Just attach the plug on to a window and it will harness solar energy. A small converter will convert it into electricity which can be freely used as a plug when you are in the car, on a plane or outside.

Love this design and I really think it has a great potential.

Ormond Gigli dreamed up this photo when he realized a brownstone across from his New York apartment was being demolished. He quickly organized 43 models in formal attire to pose in the windows and ended up with an iconic photo that perfectly captures 1960′s architecture, fashion and colour.

We’re loving the honest simplicity of these pieces by Inuit folk artist Kenojuak Ashevak. Seemingly borrowed from another time, her confident use of color and composition is really refreshing. These pieces are from her Birds series, courtesy of 50watts.

Ashevak passed this January at the age of 85. For more information about her read on:
